David Martin, the newly appointed chief executive of AsiaNext's derivatives business, asserts that capital efficiency will be the deciding factor in the crypto industry's next phase. The Singapore-based institutional digital asset exchange, backed by Japan's SBI Digital Asset Holdings and Switzerland's SIX Group, aims to bridge traditional finance and crypto ecosystems.
Martin, a decade-long crypto veteran with experience at FalconX and Blockforce Capital, emphasizes AsiaNext's unique position to facilitate this convergence. The exchange, licensed by Singapore's Monetary Authority in September 2023, caters exclusively to institutional demand for regulated digital asset trading venues.
